About

I established The Self Awareness Centre to assist people with their psychological health and wellbeing to achieve more meaning and purpose in life.

After spending many years torn between being everything to everyone, I found that I no longer felt the enjoyment of life. I fell into a pattern of anxiety and depression which left me pushing through each day on auto pilot and wondering when I was going to feel pleasure, happiness, and purpose again.

I was able to understand where and why I had fallen into a self-destructive rut. I learnt why I act and react the way I do, and this brought me more awareness, peace, and acceptance along with strategies and skills to manage my anxiety and depression.

I also found that what I loved about myself had returned - the cheeky, playful, inner child and love of nature.

Once I began to heal and move forward, I found a passion to want to share what I had learnt with others.

Being able to improve your outlook on life and bring you more contentment is where I have found my personal way to “live a life of purpose”.

Childhood trauma and inner child wounding events stayed in my body as energy in my unconscious and affected my life. It was time to uncover and process it out.

Eventually, I realised that the only way I was going to live the life I craved was if I took charge of myself and reached out for help and support. Working with professionals I began to unravel the negative thoughts, patterns, and behaviours that had seeped into my life.
